Want to try meat birds.

Gonna go make a cone out of some old racing plastic I have, then start a pot of water to boiling outside. Will there be a problem eating this bad leg bird?

A neighbor I talked to about that issue butchered them when first noticed, before too much stress took over. They never had a problem eating them. I was hoping for the second one that went lame on me would make it a few weeks and be big enough to eat but the other leg quit working too. A stroke wouldn't damage the meat, if that's what happened.

Bleeding out now, water heating up. Still not sure what happened to it, it's legs didn't work but the wings flopped in the cone after I cut off its head.

Think I had it in the boiling water to long, looks like the meat started to cook and the skin pulled off. Now in a old plastic ice cream tub in the fridge with saran wrap over it for tomorrows dinner.

I had one a couple of years ago that did the same thing at about 4 weeks. We ate it!! There must be something in their genetic makeup that causes it to happen. It's really weird because it is almost like an instant thing.
