WANTED: Barnvelder chicks

I am really desiring to get some Barnvelder chicks. We are in a residential area so I need hens only. Looking to get 2-3 please. I know that could make shipping hard so the closer to Maryland the better. I would be willing to drive as far north as New Jersey and south to southern Virginia/northern NC. Price within reason please.

I'm in the same predicament, living in a residential area. Not sure if you love Barnvelder but you might also want to look at Welsummer (dark brown eggs) and cream Legbars (blue eggs). At least you'll know you have girlies! Good luck!
