Wanted: Barred Rock Hatching Eggs

Hi Mem,
We have chicks in the winter here in virginia just have to have an extra heating lamp on. With roosters there is no telling what hathches will come out as what. You will end up with some and usually a safe thing is 50 50 with hatching eggs. Personally you get roosters pop the head off of them and enjoy a nice chicken and dumpling dinner. Or if this is not for you find someone who wants them and sell them to em.

Brandon,
Just received a time-line for chicks which helped a lot. Looks like they are good for the daytime at 6 weeks and good to go at 9 weeks for staying out. Still a little confused on how to ventilate but not have any drafts!!
I have no problem with keeping the roosters for the table. In fact that would be a great practice down the road. It sounds like each breed begins to crow at different ages. Since I would like to order from you, can you tell me when yours begin to crow softly (which isn't a problem) and when it gets super loud?
Other than that, I think I have just about everything answered. Everyone has been a big help! How do I order from you?
Michelle
