Yes. On the site. Use link above. To the left of the map, you will see a link to stock codes. Can use alphabetical or numerical lists. You’ll see that they list Turkeys, ducks, chickens, bantams, meat production, and a few other categories. Categories are separated by that first letter. R is regular chicken breeds, etc.
Thanks there are about 3 breeders very close to me and I know this area well so I can find them easily. You are a peach. LOL. :clap:clap

I found list of numbers probably you already have it but now I do too download the pdf. to my desktop. Got to find out how to cut and paste link I'll be baaaaaccck

Can't figure it out going to see my son soon and I'll have him show me how. I need step by step and return the steps myself.

http://www.aphis.usda.gov All the way at the end of the doc. is an alphabetical listing. Wow I have been looking for Astralorps. (sp) and now I found some. :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

OK I dumb ( remember dumb can be fixed stupid is forever). So use my links above and then search Poultry Strains and it's the first list on the menu that comes up. OMG. I'm great a googling but not so great at other stuff. I'm learning. :th:th:th

Good to know! Its nice to see what the categories of the breed codes mean! I could figure out several of them, here they are from the USDA site:

When I was in college I was the researcher on team papers. I will research a topic to death sometimes. LOL. I love the internet reminds me of a big library. I could spend hours and hours in the library researching. Sometimes I go off on a tangent but SHHHHH don't tell anyone. LOL. You started this.............

Found some interesting birds. Ducks there too. Lakenvelder and one number R27 came up Exhibition. And Phoenix Longtail?????????????

Yup, I'm a researcher by nature (and training) too. And, I have been pretty amazed at the huge variety listed! But, only have so much space....
