Anyone out there have blonde bobwhites? They seem to have gone the way of the Mohicans over the years? I would be interested in a trio or even a pair. Or even just a lead at this point. Help!

Do you mean Mexican speckled bobwhites? They're the only blonde ones I can think of atm. I do not know who has any but knowing the proper name (if these are what you are referring to) may help.

Hi dc3085, thanks for the reply. 100% not Mexican speckled. I have the proper name, blonde bobwhites which are different than Mexican speckled, completely. They look pretty much nothing a like. They were at one time not hard to find in the US, but as of late seems nearly impoosible. Some will lump orange and blonde bobwhites together, but really it is two different mutations if you ever see good examples of each.

    Still on the hunt!

Shawna89, thanks... I have contacted them before and if I recall, they don't keep blondes anymore. I think they just leave the photos up for reference.

I have also had no luck with legg's. So, looking for other sources.. Thanks..

Good luck! Hopefully you can find some, although you may be waiting till next breeding season for eggs even if you do :/
