WANTED: Day-Old Chicks (Dorking, B. Orping, R.I. Red, or B. Ply Rock)

Is there anyone out there with day-old chicks available anytime soon??? These will be our family's first chickens, and my kids are driving me crazy to not have to wait until spring!

I'm looking for just 3-5 Silver-Grey Dorkings, Buff Orpingtons, Rhode Is. Reds, or Barred Plymouth Rocks. If you're in NC/SC/VA, I'd be glad to even come pick them up.

We're all set up and ready to go - now we just need the chicks...

There are lots of people with those breeds. It may be hard to find them close to you. You might try posting a wanted add in the want to buy section.
I hope you find what you need!

I have Buff Orps but they aren`t day old. They are about 9 weeks and I live in IN.

Thanks everyone. I was actually able to find day-old RIRs here locally just the other day (from a posting on Craigslist). The chicks, and my kids, seem very happy!
