I have an egg customer who would like to have guinea eggs for eating. Her husband has stomach cancer & they're trying to help him heal through diet. He's trying to avoid eating eggs from birds who have eaten a lot of grain products, and he really loved my guineas' eggs.
However, my 3 hens have been unreliable layers. I think only one of them has been laying, and since I broke her last broody spell I haven't seen any more eggs.
I told my customer I'd do my best to find another source of these great eggs for them. They needn't be fertile, they'll be for eating. I think they could use about a dozen a week. She's been paying me $5 a dozen for them.
They live in Delray, FL, in southern Palm Beach County. I'm in Loxahatchee, in western West Palm Beach. Please let me know if you or someone you know has guinea hen eggs for eating. Either I or my customer can arrange pickup.
