North Central Missouri boonies
I am helping the FFA adviser this year again to locate different breeds to incubate. One incubator for chickens/quail (18/21 days hatch), one for ducks/geese(28 day hatch).

I will be responsible for everything so any help you all can give would be great. I will not get paid back for shipping or cost of eggs and they keep all that hatch. I am just trying to be nice and help them learn and grow!

So anyone with any types of egg (except things like phesant, or birds that need a special permit) please let me know. Thanks in advance. Last year I had a thread that i kept everyone updated on the progress and it was a lot of fun. I have a homemade candler that we took the kids in a dark room and showed them the eggs growing. I will do the same this year.

Hatching will start some where in the middle/late February time frame. I have room in my BIG incubator for 800+ eggs so if we get more than 2 incubtors full not a problem. I can hatch them in the big incubator.

Edited to add, they can be purebred or Mutt eggs. If you would like to donate purebred eggs please let me know so the kids can show them in the pure breed classes at the fair instead of the mixed breed classes.

OH YEAH, and if you are near North central Missouri I can meet you somewhere and pick up the eggs instead of mailing to save us on shipping.

I have some fun mutt eggs I would donate a dozen of if you'll pay shipping & packing ($15). They are GLW, SLW, Blue Wyandotte, EE's, BO, BA, BR & SF hens covered by a salmon faverolles rooster...

As soon as mine start laying ill give you a bunch....I have frizzles, some hatchery red sussex, cochens and some more, they are all free ranging to gether so no telling what you will get.

what is your time frame for this? Not much laying right now, but I should be able to help out with some blu/black silkies, mottled javas, CBM, muscovy, maybe some turkey eggs, MW and BR. Not much laying right now though...

do you want these from NPIP flocks? i just want to be sure since i don't have it yet but my girls have been laying up a storm with fertile eggs.
