I want to get a Jersey Giant, but after my first round of day old chicks, I want to wait on another order, and don't necessarily want to brood again so soon. Plus, I figure that roos are always being re-homed.
I have 25 of the little girls (7 weeks), and if I get a day old JG chick, I will have to get a few more to keep him company, there is no guarentee of getting a roo, (I know that sounds backwards...)and I certainly want a roo.
Is there anyone in Northern California who has a young JG roo they want to get rid of? I can trade a pullet, EE or White leghorn (7 weeks old now)
