Wanted: laying hens in NJ or eastern PA - Disregard... found some!

Hello, I would like to buy 4 to 6 laying hens (or hens close to laying age.) Would prefer Buff Orpingtons, Australorps, or Barred Rock hens, but will consider other breeds... providing that they are hardy in the winter and relatively docile because we are first time chicken owners.

We have a coop and are just waiting for the right ladies to take up residence. Thank you!

I'm in Delaware Township, near Flemington. I found some 4-5 week old hens through one of the local grain and feed stores... the owner has a farm and sells them. They came home today, and we got 2 easter eggers, 2 barred rocks, and 2 red stars. I am so excited!
