WANTED: Marans, who produce nice dark eggs

Looking for Marans, either young 1-1and1/2 years or preferably chicks.
Don't need a ton. 6, maybe 10, 15 chicks, depending on price. Or 1-3 adults.

I have 2 pair of silver marans that are 5 wks old, so I guess it'd need to be a couple months before they were ready to send unless you wanted something else I have as they are still rather small for just 4 of them to ship.

Thanks Dennis. I finally got to set some of my eggs and the hen should hatch out soon. I am in Tennessee and have not gotten brave enough to ship chicks. I do ship eggs,but it's getting too hot to do that. I will begin shipping again in the Fall.

Mine are cuckoo marans.

I have three MEAN cuckoo marans roos that are gonna be dinner REAL SOON. They all have crooked toes, anyway. Don't buy any from Murray McMurray. Could be a genetic defect there. They are going to be tasty roasters, though!

I was affraid to ship for along time...it really was not so bad as I had thought. I remember that same fear, though.

No, I do not want hatchery birds. So I will not be ordering from McMurray.
