Here’s ours, unfinished. Still needs trim work and window covers, but the main body is done. As you can see, we live on a hillside, so it was built on stilts with concrete at the base of the four main posts. Removable plywood floor, metal roof with insulation under it to keep the heat from radiating down into the coop area. Windows on the opposite of the open side for cross-ventilation.

I wanted the coop to be big so that they would have plenty of space when we take vacations. Coyotes, dogs, bobcats, hawks... they all live here so it had to be Fort Knox. (At least I hope it is) An outdoor run is the next addition, for them to come out and scratch around under supervision.
