Wanted: Thanksgiving Day Food PIctures

It's just me and the hubs, so we're roasting a chicken, mashed potatoes, stuffing, glazed carrots, creamed spinach, gravy, rolls, and a pecan cheesecake

Now I want creamed spinach.

Turkey
Stuffing (homemade)
Gravy (homemade)
Yams (baked)
Cranberry sauce (homemade)
Mac & cheese (homemade)
Turnips & greens (from garden)
Rolls
Pumpkin pie (homemade)
Mincemeat pie (homemade)

Now I want creamed spinach.

My mom made creamed spinach, from scratch, and placed hard-boiled egg slices on top. As a child I called it "saucy spinach"!

I want it, too.

There's only so much cooking one person can do, so I didn't make pies or scalloped potatoes. I made mashed yams (with bacon, carmelized onions and cream cheese) so I didn't do regular mashed potatoes either.

The menu was turkey, crock pot stuffing, mashed yams, green bean casserole, and home made sourdough bread.
