I have some from each of these breeds, but I am looking to build my flock. All of my chickens are just hatched to POL with the exception of a few crosses and my Iowa Blues (in their own pen)

Blue/Black/Splash Jersey Giants-

I have a breeding pair right now of Blue cock/Black hen and a splash cockerel and blue pullet, both about 6 months old. The hen is now a year and a half old and an excellent layer of large eggs. I had a major fox attack that wiped out most of my JG flock earlier this summer. I think my pullet is at point of lay because I've seen her in the nest box contemplating life. Once I have both ladies laying, would you want to swap a half dozen or so eggs? I know it's not much, but I could pack in some Ameraucana eggs if you like. I've got a trio of Black c/Blue hen & black pullet and a pair of Buffs that are also point of lay.

I'd really like to enlarge my JG gene pool as the predators wiped out a good bit of it. Admittedly, mine need work in the comb department. My cock's comb's points aren't perfect and the wattles on my black hen aren't perfectly symmetrical, but they are of good size and color. Let me know if you are interested. I'm crossing my fingers that there will be a pair of Black JGs for sale at the Virginia Poultry Breeder's show coming up in two weeks. That would be ideal but eggs would be fun, too.
