Wanted to say hi!

Just wanted to join to get insite on rasing hens etc. We bought a flock and one of them gets bullied to the point she's bleeding and will squeeze herself into a corner so she's not bothered . She's also lost most of her tail feathers and wing feathers. Is it ok to separate her and have her by herself? Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

Oh yes she's a black and white frizzle.

Where did you buy your new flock from?
Did they all come from the same place?
Are they all the same age?
Did this hen have bloody areas?
How many hens do you have?
How big is your coop and run?

Sometimes not enough space may cause chickens to panic and fight.
Also they might be trying to establish their pecking order. Sometimes it may get very aggressive.
I suggest getting blu-kote from your local feed store. When applied to animals, it covers the wound or in this case red areas to color it blue. Chickens are pron to pick at blood or things red.

First off, ! Secondly, I agree with all of the questions @Nyla asked. I'll also add on to their suggestion of Blu-Kote to also have some cocoa powder and flour on hand that you mix together and put on if the Blu-Kote doesn't work. I saw it on here from another user that said they used it because Blu-Kote just attracted their chickens even more.

Chickens tend to pick on birds that do not look like regular chickens ie, silkies, polish, frizzles etc. The mentioned breeds often do well with others like them.

I'd separate her from the flock. I've been known to make another coop when presented with this problem. Good luck!

Thank you all for your reply they came from the same lady but all different ages . One rooster 7 hens (5 chicks ) near the same age they have a huge coop and ourdoor run . She is now separated and seems a lot happier! I'm going to try the Vicks I read about on her but I may just keep her with the chicks as she was always with them they have a equally same size run!
