Wanted to share our Indian Runner drake's photos

I realize there are practical considerations, but my feeling right now is to ask you to adopt me and my pet-quality Runners! Very glad you do what you do. We plan to adopt more female Runners next year (you heard it first on this thread, friends!). But we are very limited with space, so it will be just a few. And that's why just females - not enough room to manage more than one drake right now. One drake who upsets the Runners because he has the hots for Romy who kind of likes him, but her girlfriends think he is no good for her. Sieben says hello!
So very pretty!
https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/30264521 Amiga! I know you want Runners! But look at these beauties! Oh never mind, I should have read further, all boys. :(
Very handsome boys. I can't wait till we have more room and I can get a drake or two or three. I felt horrible giving my guys up but we really don't have the room in our current house. My boys did so well together that I could see an all male flock doing really well and they would be so pretty!

Right apricot, sorry to hijack this thread. I keep running scenarios in my brain how to set up an all boys pen. But just not gonna happen here. Too bad, those guys are adorable. The shelter they are in is great though. I am sure they are happy and well taken care of. All our ducks, past and present (save one) have come from there. But still........wish I could bring them home.

Thanks everyone! Hijack away, I don't mind at all! We love our runners, I have a soft spot for our drakes. We are trying to cut our numbers down this year to a more obtainable but diverse number. It is tough breeding every single colour of runner duck out there, with my current calculations I need around 30-32 drakes to be able to do what I want with security and diversity.

I will definitely have lots of photos to come in the spring :)
