Here are some pics of my flock. They are happy little things and they definitely love each other since they are always trying to stay together. They like to roost all squished up together. They have ventured out for some free ranging in my yard and they have really enjoyed that. They stayed outside for about three hours today. They have to share the yard with my dogs though and they can't be out at the same time. They haven't started laying yet, but I hope that it won't be long now. I finally finished their nestbox today. It has been a fun adventure so far. I started out with 12 and finally settled on these five. Out of the 12 only three were roosters so I was lucky that way, but I only had room for five. I gave the roosters to a friend with a farm and the four hens to a friend with room for more. I'm sad to say that they were all killed by racoons.
