Erin they are beautiful! I finally have had success hatching the rosecombs! I have two blue and two black so far! My eggs from my Rick Hare quad should be hatching any day now!

I'm hoping to come to the next chickenstock on July 17th. Do I need to get chicks tested? In PA if they are under 16 weeks they do not need to be tested. Oh, and how old is Sgt. Pepper? I'm not sure if he is still fertile or not. All the eggs out of his pen are candling clear.

Are you going to WV or MD in MD chicks under 16 weeks don't need to be tested either or at least I believe that is the case as I didn't need to get them tested for NPIP.

Erin, they're as beautiful as I thought they'd be!

hannah, i wouldn't worry about getting the chicks tested. are you npip?

im not sure how old sgt. pepper is.. maybe 4? sometimes the hot or cold can throw them off. i've recently learned to AI as my roo won't do the deed with my serama hen and Im trying to start a new color with her.. so, I had to do what I had to do... those little boogers are so birds of a feather.... she's just a bit different so he's not all that into her
