That is what has been happening. When I was so sick back a few months ago I could barely get anything down most times...so I was eating a lot smaller portions than I used to. That is why I think my stomach shrank.
Sometimes it's not so much that your stomach "shrinks." It's more like, when you're sick, you're paying close attention to your belly and are acutely aware of what "full" feels like. If you don't feel up to eating, or if eating hurts, you only take in what you need, then you stop. The trick (which I don't use very well!) is to pay attention to your belly. You're less likely to overeat if you are aware of what "enough" feels like.

While it's good to be aware of possibilities, DO NOT self-diagnose! Let a doctor do it or you're setting yourself up for hypochondria. Make your appointment, list your symptoms, but be open. This could be a simple fix, so don't overthink it. You've got enough of that going on already, sister. As my wise ol' Gramma used to say ... "Don't borrow trouble against tomorrow." She was absolutely right - Take care of today, first.
Now. If I could only start listening to my own - and Gramma's advice, I'd be GOLDEN!
Yeah, that’s true and I definitely don’t want to get into that haha and I know a lot of the symptoms could also be from other stuff too so that’s why I’m gonna get tested to know for sure but it is kind of coincidental how I have so many. And also my mom has something with her thyroid too, I forget exactly what cause she never really talks about it and never does anything for it. I don’t want to be like that either, the other end. She didn’t even go to the doctor for it for forever. But anyway, so it seems a lot more likely now given it’s in the family. But I will still get tested. And try not to worry about tomorrow. 😂🙈

I know that but still keep eating frequently or move on to dessert etc. :(
