Two words... feather duster.

We used an oversized pompom - one designed to go on a teenager's backpack - fr our Silkie, Herman. It looked just like him and was three times his size, at first. By the time he made it out of the brooder, he was attached to it we didn't have the heart to toss it. Since he lived inside and had pretty much the run of the house (pre Crazy Dog era, obviuosly,) we just kept washing it and tossing it back to him. He actually carried it around the house and guarded it from the cayt ... who were VERY anxiuos to get ther paws on that lovely, stinky, fuzzy thing the Pseudo-Cat kept such a close eye on. If we had known Herman wouldn't live very ling (Coccidiosis got him) I wouldn have taken more pictures and some video. I sure would love to have those, now. Herman was a real character!
