Not trying to change the subject at all (of course not, why would I; this is a perfectly angelic like party thread) but why am I always hungry?!?! Grrr...I just ate a big supper 5 hrs ago!!
Eat smaller portions more often and your stomach will shrink.

It also makes you gain weight...depending on what kind you have.
Untreated diabetes can cause severe weight loss. Before I was officially diagnosed, I could eat any amount that I wanted and was losing 5 lbs. a week because I could not digest the sugar. Another sign is constant dry mouth and dehydration. Always thirsty and any water that was drank would pass through the body very quickly causing the need to urinate within ten minutes of drinking the water.

The weight gain comes once you get treatment. Suddenly all that sugar that was passing straight through your body becomes digestible and starts adding pounds very quickly.

True. By the time I was diagnosed, I weighed some 99 pounds -- and I was still 5'6", or thereabouts.
I don't think that I had the constant dry mouth, but I would get up in the middle of the night and drink a bunch of water.
Then there was the "flu" right before I went in... and the nonsense-speaking.

I hope it stays that way.

Yeah I think I’m definitely going to because I have like practically every single symptom of the one and it would explain a lot 😂🤣🙈

I think I will call and make an appointment first thing tomorrow before I forget again.
I think you mentioned hair loss? That's a symptom of hypothyroid. So is sudden weight gain and general lack of energy.

For hypothyroidism it is. Not sure about the other end of the specturm... haven't got there yet.
Hyperthyroid is also just a couple of blood tests. If you do have thyroid issues, though, you'll have to get it tested at least once a month until you're stable. Then you still get to get your lab work done every six months. I only have to check mine once a year now.

Yeah, I definitely have all that as well as basically legit like almost every single thing on here except maybe the sweating thing and the last few. :th

I also NEVER used to get cold ever even in winter but now I do quite easily for the last several years now. Most of this other stuff started around the same time too, maybe like 3-5 ish years ? So I’m wondering if it started then? I definitely want to get tested cause it would explain a lot but I don’t know what they would even do for it?
