I just got my first waffle iron and want to make a good breakfast tomorrow. Anyone mind sharing their home made waffle batter recipe?

Waffles

2 cups of scooped all purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs separated
1/2 stick butter – melted
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 cup sour cream
1 cup milk

Measure dry ingredients into a bowl and stir well to mix.
Beat the eggs with the melted butter.
In a large measuring cup, mix the vinegar, milk, and sour cream, beat into the eggs.
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir just until bell combined, let batter rest while you heat your waffle iron; it will get very thick.

I have a great recipe for gluten free waffles!

1 1/2 cups of rice flour
1 cup buckwheat
1/2 cup cornmeal
1/2 sorghum flour
1/2 cup of cornstarch
1 tablespoon of baking soda

6 eggs, 1/4 cup of oil (any kind but I prefer palm oil) 1/2 a quart of buttermilk and 1/2 a quart of water.

This recipe makes about 20 waffles and tastes like gluten!

My waffle iron makes really thick waffles...would this recipe work with a waffle iron like this?
