Hey Gracefull, I am sure my hubby would prefer standard, just because the egg is gonna be bigger. I would prefer bantam's because I have been wanting some for a long time. So I guess you can say that I want both

I have Bantams (Hamburgs) who lay pearly white eggs. They are considered "very good" layers.

Sorry I didn't see the post! I never log out so it say's that I am online all the time and I really am not. anyway

What does a Hamburg look like? Do you have egg's now or do I need to wait?

That's fine.

The only eggs I have right now are in (or about to go in) the 'bator. And the next dozen is already promised to someone, but within a month at most, I will have some more ready.
It is $15 a dzn with S&H included.

If you want white eggs, you should get some White Leghorns. You can get day old chicks from most hatcheries. Ideal Poultry has their version Ideal 386 which are great producers of large white eggs and boy do they lay. And their feed to egg ratio is low because they are a relatively small bird. I have several and they have always been my top producers.

If you are willing to order chicks my Blue andalusians lay nice white eggs and are pretty consistent. Ideal has them.
