We have as assortment of fowl.....chickens, ducks, a goose, guineas, peacocks....even a pheasant. I am wanting an old steel corn crib, to make into an aviary. Any idea how much I should offer to pay someone for one? There is a property down the road that has 2 of them on them. Both are about 30' tall and 15' wide. I realize it will be a chore just to take it down and move it.
I have Googled and people are saying he should 'pay me' for taking it down, but the man is wanting $350 for it.
Thoughts?
Also, have any of you used one for a coop/aviary in the past? If so, what about winter? I am just in central Indiana so not crazy cold, but still several days below freezing and snow and blowing. Do you wrap it with tarps in the winter or what?
Thank you in advance!
