Of course...
If you have any Q's or need measurements of anything, ask away. With that height you could make a double tier (6) 🙂
As a matter of fact your measurements would be helpful-whenever you have time. It looks like yours is off the ground? Is it on feet or just up on boards? And you have a roost on top is that right?

I'll get some better close-up pics today for ya. It's screwed to the walls, er doors... with one support leg on the free standing corner.
All my coops are in my pole barn so I'm less worried of a predator break in other than mice so I really don't need to spend $ on lumber built walls when 2 doors stacked is a fast insta- wall.
And yes, that is a roost/poop board on top. I had to extend the height of the drawer up to give stand up room for the girls to lay. Your build measurements will differ, but I can get you my general measurements and then if others want to chime in... you can decide what's best for you. 😉

Not that this will help you, but I like to link these for fun. It shows some of the ways people have provided nests. Your trunk is pretty tame compared to some of these.

I don't know how deep that is, hopefully at least 12". I'd make three nests with that, either standing it on end or putting it horizontal. If horizontal, some people put them on the coop floor, others have them high enough so they don't hurt their back when they look into them. If they are near the floor make sure the lower lip is high enough to not only hold in any bedding and eggs but to keep them from scratching trash into the nest from the bedding on the coop floor.

thank you! Bending down egg searching is rough on my back, but I’ve got kids I’ve gave that job to lol.

Right now I’m using a couple milk creates for nesting boxes. I’ve got a chicken that likes to sit on her egg for HOURS meanwhile there’s a line forming. I was cleaning out an old shed and found the trunk thing, and immediately thought nesting boxes! Since having chickens my thinking is completely different. I can’t pass an old piece of wood or box or whatever without thinking “ooo a roost! Or wow this will make a good chicken ramp!” My husband found a huge piece of plexiglass at work and we were all excited!! The coop isn’t going to winterize itself lol.

Oh absolutely, I'm always hunting for the next chicken treasure. My daughter picked up a ton of plexiglass last year that was a curb alert from a nail salon. I think they had like small cubicles during covid set up to just be in contact with hands... I'm guessing.
Ive been using them for windows and wind blockers or keeps the little ones in the chain link runs I have.
