I want to sale br eggs here on the forum but not sure how to go about it. Do I get the eggs first then post for sale or post for sale as I'm gathering eggs each day? What is the going rate for bourbon red eggs for incubating? Thanks

Steven

there are a couple of different ways

1. You can list a 24 hour auction for eggs you have on hand that will be viable within the time period required to ship, for example eggs you have on hand on a Monday that would be viable by the time they get to someone on Thurs

2. If you know you are getting x amount of eggs in a certain time period you can list an auction for more than one day, or list the auction as being a reservation on future eggs

3. List eggs in the 24 hour crazy auction thread https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=330991

Where are you in LA? I live in the Covington area. If you aren't too far away I'd like to buy some from you and pick them up

Do you have any birds setting or an incubator? I would be willing to make the drive (if close enough) to pick up poults or pay to have them shipped since we are pretty close.

I sell my eggs for $5.00 per egg. I really don't know if that is too low or too high but I do know that people don't hesitate to buy them and they want more and more.

What part of Louisiana are you from harris farm and Scottingitup? I'm from Opelousas.

I live in crowley west of lafayette. Im obligated to one person on my first batch in the bator after that I will sell the eggs or poults. I will sell eggs for $5.00 each and 5 day old birds for $10.00. Not sure on the shipping yet but i will inform later. Thanks
