Wanting To Start 4-H Chicken Club Need Help!!!!!!

Well actually things are going good because my county got one of the barns cleared up so we have room for chickens now so im now pushing even harder for one and my dad agreed to be the leader witch is great because he grew up on a commercial chicken farm and had over 1400 chickens! So he will teach us how to show and be our leader he just has to be aproved!

That's awesome, great job with the progress in your pursuit. Keep us posted. Just got home from day 3 of our 10 day local fair. My son placed 5th out of 12 in fitting and 3 in showmanship in the chicken show today. And my daughter didn't place in fitting but 2nd in showmanship out of the same 12. Both are first time showers. My other daughter had her RIR place 2nd in the open show. Great week so far. Knowledge tests results are due out tomorrow.

Thanks cg4 for the ovation and congrats. Finally getting a chance to update after getting back to work and chores after 13 days off doing the fair thing. Well success continued as my son(14) and daughter(18) won 1st and 2nd in poultry knowledge respectively. All this in the senior class. Order was reversed as my daughter took overall poultry champion in her final year in 4H as I had to text her to tell her she had won because she was already back at college and turned 19 all in the same week (man I am old). My son placed 2nd overall. Busy week but well worth it. Not bad, pretty proud dad.
