War has been Declared (Graphic Pictures)

The ferrets did too, right? :) before or after you drowned them? :)

We forget how lucky we are in the US when it comes to being able to quickly dispatch a predator. Was a 12 gauge really the best choice for a weasel? No, but it would have been gone by the time I went back for the .22, but at least I had options. Many countries don't allow for firearms in these situations.

I don't see any reason why people are saying what they would have done or saying that @Chookwagn should have done something else.

Not everyone can shoot a pest, not everyone is content to let a pest keep coming to kill birds.

Releasing it somewhere else is almost always worse, whether for the animal, the people who now have to deal with the animal or you if it's illegal and you get caught.

Claiming you would keep it as a pet is just.... wrong. It is NOT a pet, it will NOT have a good quality of life as one. Why do you think it will be just fine suddenly being trapped in a tiny cage, fed almost certainly food it doesn't prefer and being around a terrifying human 24/7?

Oh I know that! I'm just letting all these other gunslingers know :)
I was born 6 gun in my hand
Behind a gun
I'll make my final stand...
That's why they call me

Bad company
And I can't deny
Bad company
Till the day I die, oh
Till the day I die
Till the day I die

:hmm isn't that our Anthem

Not saying at all that carrying or owning guns is a bad thing or that I'm against it.... just that in some countries its a culture and here it isn't.... I have absolutely no need to carry a or own a gun.... so I don't:)

don't worry my province makes it illegal to catch mink or otters in a foot hold that does not drown it right away.
I forgot about that. I'm not a trapper (hopefully someday though) but I think that is the rule here, too. I believe it's because they will just chew their leg off, which is less humane than drowning. Beaver traps are underwater too.
