My two big male silkies started going at it today for some reason. Neither one of them would back down. Finally I think they just got tired and said the heck with it. But they did pluck each other's heads pretty good. Both of them have a swollen comb and I think it looks worse than it is because they have white feathers, and the little bit of blood stands out.
Do these little war wounds heal pretty quickly and without incident? Do thier head feathers grow back pretty quick?
