That comb is giving me grief... when I think I've got the hackles ID (several times now) then the comb just does not go.

Or... maybe the comb would work... but the face/eyes/beak doesn't.

And don't even get me started on the hens.

They're beautiful, but I can't peg it right so I give.

I guessed Welsummer because those hens look A LOT like my gal- the neck of contrasting feathers, etc. Hard to tell in that light though

I just assumed the roo was a young one, not filled out yet (comb & wattle)...

But now I'm uber curious! What kind???

They are regional variety of game. Very sweet although they are a bit skittish -- which is a good thing out here in the hinterlands. They are about 15 months old, the rooster is around three months past his first molt, the hens are one and a half months out. They are nice egg layers and superb bug slayers.

Thanks for the kind words and glad y'all like the video, it might not last long in it's current incarnation. I've already received an email from youtube that the video could be considered a copyright violation.

Perhaps I'll add a caption encouraging people to buy a Golgol Boredello album.

HA, well that explains why I couldn't get it quite right.

I love that fella's comb though, so... upbeat or sporty or ... something.
