I love watching them too. Our dog is the same way, she comes running when they start peeping, looking in the brooder to see what is happening. She thinks they are her responsibility I guess! lol

I just love the sounds!

Our 3 silkies make the neatest sounds.

I still bring them in at night and they sleep in a big rubbermaid tub, and the sounds for the first 10 minutes they are inside before nestling down are to die for!

Oh, I'm SOOO glad I'm not the only one! I love all the sounds - the baby peeps, when they start learning how to chirp, when the little cockerels find their "crow," and even the big girls and adult roo - all the chicken noises just are so warm & fuzzy! My favorite is what DH calls the "happy chicken noises" when they make that coo-ing noise....my juveniles seem to do that when I get them all tucked into their pen at night. So happy, they are! What a joy they've been for me!

Yep. Wonderful sounds.

My nine little Silkie chicks are ALL standing in the food dish pigging out and telling me what a good cook I am (it's Purina Chick Starter).

Awwwww. I just cleaned a pasty butt, and the little chick said thank you all over my last clean blouse.
