so tell me fellow Miamian, how are you managing with your hen project? where are you getting your chicks from and poultry feed and such? are you near Robbies Feed and Supplies on 223 street SW Krome Avenue? 305-247-1256, or perhaps Tractor Supply Company in Pembroke Pines, right off of Okeechobee Road close to Hialeah and that area 954-954-437-3071, let me know if I can help with other information I am actually in Miami Lakes, there are a couple other mom and pop (smaller feed stores) in the area which I like to support by shopping there when i can, you can try Mary's Feed and Farm in Hialeah Gardens 305-556-7620 owners are Lazaro and his son Mike, nice people. good selection of products, geared towards poultry, Pigeons, horses, they also have a section for swine, Goats, rabbits, and sheep. Ive also seen 50 lbs bags of pellets for catfish, Koi, fish farming stuff.Hey everyone! I’m a high school student looking to get into caring for hens, both as a way to provide for my family and a fulfilling hobby. As of writing I’ll be searching for local breeders in the Miami area, that carry purebred heritage chicks I’d be able to raise for showmanship. I’d love to get some advice from people who know what they’re doing, it’d be a great help! Looking forward to talking to y’all!
