Warm Mash!

OK, 27F isn't cold-cold by any means but since I am home today I decided to give the flock a treat.

When I brought their waterers out I also brought a jug of hot water to mix with their crumble.

My 8 week olds LUV when I do this...the older ones - not so much. Those 3 have to be the pickiest chickens ever!
You have such a variety of chickens!!!

Oh my goodness! I love all of the lavender, blue, black, & white colors in your flock! Are these the most recent additions all grown up? They're gorgeous! It's a cold morning for us North Carolinians It was just mid 60s two days ago

I'd like more variety in patterns, but I just love my Blue Australorps. Can't wait to hatch some Splash birds this spring.

I'm planning on hatching them in manageable amounts. I really found 25 at once too much to deal with -- at least with the current setup.
