WARNING"" DEAD""" stuffed bobcat,,,,,grafic

Here's a pic of our's on our loft landing....although my husband bought this one from a divorcee that was selling her husbands "dead things" that he left behind, it's always hysterical to hear my DH tell company how he "wrestled it to the ground" with his bare hands or caught it with a fishing pole....it's always a new and hysterical story!! Great conversation piece!!

Lacy, you're will turn out to be just as nice, I'm sure, but you have a "true" story behind your bobcat!! LOL....At least the 52" musky on the wall has a "true" story!! LOL

I've always been interested in Taxidermy...I have a baby Caiman and one of my great grandmother's dogs (

)...and a marten. I've never done any of them, but I think it's fascinating as heck.
Good recycling job Lacy.

thanks.

i hate when people waste a good animal pelt, almost everywere in this country you can always find someone in your area that wants some pelts or animlas to practice on

Lacy - good job on your predator pelt. What happens if you don't rub the pelt for softness? Do you just get a stiff fur pelt? I understand the part about getting the skin soft; I guess that's what you do? It looks great.

Wow that's cool! I had to stuff a couple of mice and rats for class when I was in college... but I was never brave enough to try something as big as that. A stuffed bobcat would be way cooler than a stuffed rat!
