Warning for those leaving chickens for weekend with food/water

My neighbour had been using small rubber feed tubs for her 6 week olds' food and water ... the other day they flipped one of the tubs upside down and a chickie got trapped under it ... it was a hot day and the poor thing had a hellish day in there and was nearly expired when she found it. It did recover, fortunately.

What great advice! Just one more reminder of good 'ol Murphy and his Laws.
My entire life seems to be based on that philosophy of "if it can happen, it will!"
