*WARNING GRAPHIC PHOTO* possible exploded blood clot on chicken

@Susan Skylark thank you for your input! I looked her over many many times and saw no puncture before. The only indications of an underlying injury I noticed were yellow skin on the leg(not as yellow as now). I always assumed it was just healing liquid(sorry, I don't know the technical term for this) dripping down from her side. I poked and probed her leg-never got any reaction other than her regular talking. She did however, have bile in her poop for 4-5 weeks, but it returned to normal a couple weeks ago.

The bile in the poop back in October could have been from liver problems (ie: fatty liver or liver problems from egg yolk peritonitis.) It is hard to know what is going on with your chicken. Sometimes we don’t get answers until a necropsy can be done if we lose them.

@Eggcessive @coach723 @BigBlueHen53 @FarmerGirl101 @Susan Skylark I'd like to thank all of you for your contributions. This morning, we put her down. Turns out, the explosion also ruptured her intestines. I have no idea how she even made it through the night. The hole was also bigger than I thought; a bit bigger than a quarter. If I'd have known she was going through this, I would have put her down a long time ago, I just thought maybe she had a pulled tendon or something.
