WARNING Severe weather for TN/GA/AL

we are getting lots of rain and lots of lightening here with whopper thunder, rumbling the house. I hope the power doesn't go out, but we shall see. luckily it's not 15 degrees outside like it was the last time the power went out (we didn't have chickens or chicks then, luckily). The worst thing about all this is the Red apple trees all are blooming, they normally bloom before the other apple varieties, and these are the ones that took a beating the other year and we had a shortage of red apples from local farmers. We had about 5 minutes of small hail, so hopefully that didn't damage any of the orchards around the county. keep us in your prayers
I will guess there will be quite a bit of flooding around because the ground barely had time to dry from the last rainy week we had. so it's all run off. I am so glad I didn't do anything to the garden this week like I actually planned to and never got around to do anything. it would have all run off into the woods and I wouldn't have much left.

I hate bad storms at night, would rather have them during the day so I can see what is going on.

(sorry so long)

The leading edge of the storms are starting to move in now. I agree I'd rather have them in daylight. From now to after midnight we have the possibility of large hail, high winds and tornados. It's just raining really hard right now. Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll just skirt past us.

Take care of yourself!

It missed us. The funnel cloud I saw at work headed for my home but missed by about 10 miles. It did damage but not like the one that hit murfreesboro. That was a half mile wide and went for 10 miles. Did unimaginable damage. Actually lifted one house and set it on top of another one. Wizard of Oz stuff.
