I live on a community piece of rental property. I lost 15 pure breed pullets to dos this summer, and when I told the first owner how much the replacement cost would be($12-15 a piece) my landlord stepped in and said that was ridiculous, then when his chicken got kiled it became a problem. Neither owner even bothered to put the dogs up after the attacks. They just let them keep running. It is very frustrating. i understand loving bad dogs, I have owned a biter and a cat killer, but we took responsibility. I alsoo understand that dogs will be dogs, but I don't understand why people can't pay what they owe? To me dogs are the most frustrating predators, because they CAN be controlled.
