Keep your virus software up to date. Consider relying on Microsoft Security Essentials. As I wrote before, I have used it exclusively for a while now, with no computer issues at all. Why pay when you can get it for free?

You acn read about it and download it HERE. It is likely already on your Windows 7 or 8 computer.

I have no connection to Microsoft. I am a much happier Windows user after adopting Win 7 and now Win 8.

Thanks to you all. I was also having these problems, but didn't know where they came from. I downloaded the suggested and now am also hopefully problem free.

You are gonna LOVE Windows 7 or 8. There is a learning curve for Win 8, and I am still curving.

MS Security Essentials seems to work with Vista or 7.
