Workers from Tractor Supply are usually just store workers, not chicken professionals. Why don't they train them!?

I agree its so sadSome people. That chick, if it survived would of been lonely and living by itself or raised in the house, would poop eveywhere and would get thrown out to live a sad life and die within the week, alone. Like many impulsivity bought chicks every year.
Both our local TSC does a great job with the chicks. They are always super clean, have plenty of food/water, and seem healthy. My girls came from there and are doing well.If you buy chicks from tractor supply BE CARFUL! Inspect each chick carefully!!! They never get me the right breeds and all the chicks are always half dead when i get them. So make sure to look up the breed and compare. I find everyone at my Tractor supply is very very lazy! The chicks never have enough food or water. They always have pasty butt! Then they wonder why the chicks die! Give me your thoughts on your local tractor supply or feed store.
It is just like spliting the chicks lives in half. But people treat it like spliting a pack of gum.I agree its so sadat least they give a minimum but lots of people "split" purchases.
I don't know I just compliant to management.Workers from Tractor Supply are usually just store workers, not chicken professionals. Why don't they train them!?
I know alotnof people don't have a clue about chickens. Makes me angry and sad.It is just like spliting the chicks lives in half. But people treat it like spliting a pack of gum.
Mine is the same as your's. Takes very good care of chicks, but still mislabels the chicks. My TSC does a great job as far as caring for chicks, ducklings, turkey poults, and keets, but breed identification is frequently incorrect.
I always have to revive the chicks I get. Both our local TSC does a great job with the chicks. They are always super clean, have plenty of food/water, and seem healthy. My girls came from there and are doing well.
I agree I did a email to mangment if that doesn't work I will call and ask for the manager. We have run into the same issue here. My kid spotted pasty butt on a couple of chicks a month or so ago and told the lady working... the lady blew her off. So, I found a manager, let her know what my 6 yr old saw, and I then proceeded to tell her how to fix it. They just dont know! I mean really... my daughter is 6 and figured it out....
