My local TSC is pretty good. The people there have chickens at home and one of the ladies was giving me good advice and tips.

Used to be great gramma's playhouse. This "coop" makes me turn my head in shame. But hey, I put boxes and even made a nesting box for the chickens. Even a "perch".

Hey, the chickens don’t care what it looks like. As long as it’s a safe place to sleep at night out of the elements and you give them fresh food and water. Sure improvements can be made, but it’s better than what countless numbers get.

True. But my main pain is the small perch and few nestingboxes. And oh, some many badly made coops they do buy. 3 by 3 for 6 hens and so on.

Definitely something to work with. It may be a little backwards, but it works. Checkout the great resources for coop renovations. I have made so many renovations the more I learn. I’m currently working on creating more ventilation in my 10 year old coop. And yes, my birds sleep like that too.
