See I agree with you up to a point. Trashing them and insulting them isnt gonna do a thing. But think of all the chicks dying because of improper care.
The concept is if people stop buying from them they they will stop selling them. But honestly, not all tractor supplies are bad. Mine is amazing. They care for their chicks, havent mixed them up anytime I've been there, they all look healthy, and the employees even tell the customers how to care for them when they get home and what to watch out for.

See my point is maybe a handful of people will stop buying but thats not gonna make them stop selling chicks. I wish I had a good tractor supply

If you buy chicks from tractor supply BE CARFUL! Inspect each chick carefully!!! They never get me the right breeds and all the chicks are always half dead when i get them. So make sure to look up the breed and compare. I find everyone at my Tractor supply is very very lazy! The chicks never have enough food or water. They always have pasty butt! Then they wonder why the chicks die! Give me your thoughts on your local tractor supply or feed store.
Wow I have not heard 1good thing about tractor supplys chicks I have a Rural King that is my local feed store and they are great the chicks are always healthy and well taken care of fresh food and water bedding is mostly clean no pasty butts very nice knowledgeable of the breeds and most of the time are correct on the sex of the chicks you should email tractor supply and give them what for

No, some of the people on this thread was saying good stuf. Some of the tractor supplies are bad some are good.

Well, our local TSC are very knowledgeable on chicks & I had just hatched EE's 1 ½ weeks before I made an impulse buy, but I too was looking to add to my flock, i fellnin love with Lavender orphingtons, but whenni finally got the OK, they were gone, so I still wanted to add & bought 4 silkies! I got 3 hens & 1 rooster... & since then a friend had a single CQ 2nd gen. hatch that I took in & hatched 4 frizzles, from her eggs & I kept 2, one happens to be a little rooster, but that's OK, I Love each & every one of them, & I even go out @ night & catch grasshoppers, since they are not free rangers .

Plenty of TSCs are great at chick care. Unfortunately people only point out bad things
