Garden Valley, ca
As the weather is warming up, rattle snakes and others will be coming out. Here in Nothern Ca. we are having a week of 70 degree weather. Any grass or weeds over 6" tall is an area to be very cardfull around. We don't want anyone to get bite. So be carefull cleaning up aorund the fence, this is a favorite spot for them.

Thanks so much. I live in Va. and with the warm temps. I am dreading going out to feed the girls and there is a snake in the hen house. I hate the cold weather, but I hate the snakes that come out in the warm weather. Good Looking out for everyone.

Thats why I love living in Alaska. Not a snake to had for thousands of mile

speckled hen...stop it...I'm a big scardy cat of snakes....i went to a hypnotist a couple of years ago, and it worked pretty good...I'll look and see if I can find the tape and listen to it again.

I'm glad the only snake we have out here is the infamous "lunch snake" aka Garters.

Our only predator problems are Coyotes (so far not for us.
