Hi there, does anyone have expierence with a chick being able to fully develop and hatch, if the air cell has become warped? I am day 17 into incubation. I haven’t seen the best turn out with my 6 eggs. I went down to 3 eggs and 1 gave out a few days ago in developing (dead chick). I have two eggs remaining, which I thought were doing great. They are moving. But yesterday when cadeling I noticed one of the air cells was now warped. It is dipped down another words, kind of giving the chick lesser room in the egg.

will this chick still have a decent success?
Brinsea incubator I have and have been turning the eggs 3 times a day.

Can I see a picture? Has it always been like this? Is it a saddled air cell?

MGG- thank you, it does look like a saddle air cell. Not sure how it happened, but I did not see it the other times when candling. They were shipped eggs too. But they sat out for 48hrs to allow them the rest.

That's what it is then. It should be able to hatch just fine though. Good luck! Glad I could help.
