The old white cat with a gray splash of fur on h er side licked her paw and trotted over to mintpaw. "Hi. I am Cinderpelt. What rank are you going to be?" Her white tail twitched as she stood waiting for a response.

Shadowfire went up to Nightkit and Cloudkit. "Behave." she mewed.

"I am!!" Cloudkit squeaked.

Shadowfire padded out of the camp with Sootfur to hunt.

As soon as Shadowfire left with Sootfur Cloudkit pounced on Mintpaw.

"Hey!" Nightkit yelped as Cloudkit pounced. "Mother told you to behave!"


Nightpaw sighed, hoping Mintpaw wouldn't be angry with her young sisters. "Sorry," she apologized sending a sightless glare in Cloudkit's general direction.
