only the shadow knows.....
A few quilting friends and I worked on this pattern from Fat Cats http://www.fatcatpatterns.com/PDFs/2010_PinkWarrior.pdf Still waiting on a couple to finish before I can post for all to see. Thought I would open up a new swap based on another pattern there. This one is much easier than the Pink Warrior pattern. All those feathers drove us batty!!! Here's all the technical stuff:

This swap is based on the 12 1/2inch THINK PINK blocks at http://www.fatcatpatterns.com/PDFs/ThinkPink2007.pdf

Fabric: All fabrics used should be 100% cotton, very nice quality quilt appropriate fabrics. No flimsy fabrics, please. FABRICS MUST BE PREWASHED PRIOR TO USING.

Colors: Ribbons-Everyone must choose a ribbon color that has not already been chosen. Background--Light= white-white-on-white, cream, eggshell (no EE eggshells!!)

Block Pattern: http://www.fatcatpatterns.com/PDFs/ThinkPink2007.pdf

Number of blocks: 12-16 dependant on number of slots filled

Sign Up Deadline: June 1st

Blocks due to me: December 1, 2011. Blocks will be swapped and mailed out asap after all are received. I will only wait 5 days for stragglers.

Mailing: When you mail your blocks to me, be sure to INCLUDE INSIDE a SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) with your address in both the From and To slots with the EXACT same amount of postage as it costs you to send them to me. If your packages do not have the appropriate postage, I will "return to sender". Blocks and SASE should be able to fit in a small flat rate Priorty Mail Envelope--I believe the stamp is $4.95. Be sure to get 2 stamps. 1 for sending to me. 1 for sending back to you. (2 sets will easily fit)

Please post here if you would like to join. As well as posting here, please PM me with your email addy, so I can keep the addy information for this swap.

Here's a link to the color meanings-- http://www.choosehope.com/ribbon_color_chart_printable.pdf (you may get an error message just click ok and the file will open)

Enjoy!!!

If you would like to add a 15 inch block for the back with your name or the name of someone who is fighting the battle that would be wonderful!

Mine will include a back with my brothers name on it.

No the toes scared my off, plus the begining of garden season. I have a VERY large garden project this year that I really want to get up and running, but I am considering the ribbons, no toes, but it will depend on how the garden project is coming along by then. Since that one goes to Dec. it shouldn't be as big an issue.

Would you just incllude 1 name block for the back? Wouldn't you need 12 or 16 so your block info goes w/ each of your blocks?

Yes, 12-16 one for one. But that is just voluntary, it's not a required part of the swap
