"We gotta go see daddy!" Her voice dropped to a whisper so no one would hear; their mother had never seemed to be able to tell them enough that they couldn't let anyone know they saw their father.
"Ok!" They both whispered, and scampered after their sister.
Ebonykit and Shadowkit bounded into Fourtrees, looking crazed so as to look like they were running from ShadowClan.
Troutfur watched them from the bushes, grinning proudly.
Dustkit let his tail fluff out again, and Lionkit laid his ears back.
"Hello my kits!" Troutfur called to them, very softly though.

Silverstripe looked up at him lovingly, purring. "How are you?" she asked. After Shadowpelt she'd been afraid to love again, but she had made an exception for Bramblepelt, and now that they were mates, she felt happier than she'd been in a long, long time.
"Good, how about you?" he replied.

Stormy sat on the twoleg fence and stared out into the forest. Misty's inside the twoleg nest he thought, This would be the perfect time to leave without her noticing. He jumped off the fence. He decided he wasn't a kittypet anymore. He was a loner now. He walked around the forest, getting used to the area.

Specklefur almost called a warning to him as he left, but he was gone before she could. "He better watch out for ThunderClan," she murmured to herself.

A muscular gray tabby burst out of the bushes suddenly. "Care to explain what you're doing in ThunderClan territory, kittypet?" he spat.

Quote: Silverstripe purred. For a brief second, under her neck fur, as the wind blew against it, a long, jagged scar was revealed, running down her neck and around her shoulder. As the breeze died down, it disappeared under her silver fur again.

"I'm not a kittypet." he said. "Not anymore. Now, I'm a forest cat. And I'm sorry, didn't know I was on Thunderclan territory. Want me to leave?"

"What happened to your neck?" Bramblepelt asked, worried.
