Specklefur nodded, padding out. "Lionkit! Dawnkit!" she shouted. Dawnkit flattened herself to the ground in submission. Shadowkit grinned from ear to ear.
Lionkit rolled off his brother and drooped his ears.

Sagestar organized a patrol, with Specklefur on it, and yowled to get moving.
Specklefur's eyes were mere slits. "Get in the nursery. Now. I'll deal with you when I get back." She shot a glare when she heard Shadowkit snicker. Shadowkit ducked to the ground. "That goes for all of you." She then pelted after Sagestar.

Long before they reached Fourtrees, a strong, nearly overpowering stench of pinesap hit them. ShadowClan. It was still fairly fresh, too. A patch of the ShadowClan deputy's trademark tabby silver fur was caught in a bramble, as well.
