~Warriors RP II~

Quote: Thistleclaw marked his end of the border and growled. The scent of still there, he could smell it, but at least it was much better. "Lets go!" Sagestar yowled and trotted alongside the border. She worked her way back to camp.
Bristling, Specklefur and Mapleshade followed.
Once back in camp, Sagestar stalked to her den. The gathering was the next night, and she was trying to decide if she should bring the Shadowclan incident up.

Dustkit and Lionkit sat with their sisters and heard the patrol come. "Oh dear.." Lionkit whispered.

(After this wanna timeskip to the gathering?)

Specklefur padded over, the incident with ShadowClan only irritating her further. "All of you," she meowed sternly, "especially you, Dawnkit. What have I told you about playing very roughly?"

"I didn't scratch Shadowkit's paw open on purpose!" Dawnkit defended herself.

"Exactly. You were playing so roughly you couldn't help it." Specklefur's tail flicked. "I've told every one of you at least a hundred times. Kits get very seriously injured when they play so roughly. You don't want to be stuck in the medicine den when you could be becoming an apprentice, now do you?"

"No!" Dawnkit and Shadowkit cried.
(Yes. :D)

Lionkit and Dustkit cried out in unison with their sisters. "Sorry momma." Dustkit said softly... for the first time.
Specklefur's gaze softened a bit. "Good. You are going to be apprentices within a few days. You need to act like it." She licked their foreheads. "Now, I love you. I just don't want you getting hurt."
Lionkit puffed out his chest. Dustkit purred. "Thanks momma." Lionkit mewed.
*Timeskip!*

Specklefur groomed her fur by the nursery. Secretly she hoped she'd be able to go to the Gathering just to see Troutfur, but she stayed silent.

In ShadowClan, Maplestar rattled off the names of who would be going. Shadowpelt was included.

Sagestar called out names, including Mapleshade and Specklefur.

Shadowpelt jerked up from his meal. He broke into hacking coughs from swallowing his food wrong. His eyes were glowing with excitement. Please let Silverstream go.. he thought, then bit himself mentally. Stupid fool. Where does your loyalty lie?! he hissed and his mood dampened.

Silverstream groomed her dull silver coat. She was extremely skinny, but strongly desired to go to the gathering. She knew she probably wouldn't be able to, but it was worth a try. Ashkit dropped a mouse by her paws. "Here momma." he said. Silverstream thanked him and studied him for a moment. He was growing into a fine young kitten. His chest was wide and strong like his father's, and his coat was sleek and shiny from his Riverclan blood. She purred. Rainkit stumbled over his tail. "Gosh Ashkit, watch your tail." she snapped. Then she helped her mother groom. Silverstream sighed at the relaxing feeling of her small tongue rasping over her fur. Her poor kit didn't have eye sight, but she was extremely intelligent.

Specklefur's ears shot up eagerly and she grinned, almost like an apprentice. Mapleshade was calmer, but smiled with a purr.

(Does he know about Silverstripe and Bramblepelt?) Silverstripe sat by the warrior's den, noticably frowning when Bramblepelt wasn't mentioned but staying silent. The Clan had pretty much forgotten about the incident moons ago, save for a few obvious cats and Maplestar. The ShadowClan leader hopped off the Highrock, beckoning her Clan with her tail as she began heading towards Fourtrees.

Dapplestar stood on the Highrock, watching over her Clan. RiverClan's numbers were dwindling... This wasn't good. "Frostloud, Cloverwhisker, Troutfur, Tawnypaw..." her eyes scanned the clearing. Her eyes darkened with hatred when she saw Silverstream. Half-Clan, she thought with a hiss. Disloyal, disgusting cats who only care for themselves. They don't deserve their kits. I lost mine because of them. Sorrow briefly flashed in her eyes. My kits... But it disappeared so fast, one would have to have been looking at her very closely the whole time to catch it. "...and Silverstream." She didn't want to bring Silverstream; she didn't want her in the Clan, in fact, but RiverClan was weak and she didn't exactly have much choice.

(I don't think so.. no.) Shadowpelt bounded after her, his black tail standing straight in the air with eagerness.

Silverstream's ears perked up. A large smile spread over her face and her eyes sparkled.

Dapplestar led her Clan to Fourtrees. She jumped onto the Great Rock.

Silverstream curled her tail around her paws, and seemed to be staring ahead. But her eyes glanced everywhere. She was trying to find Shadowpelt among the crowd.

As she saw RiverClan arrive, Specklefur's heart skipped a beat. She searched for Troutfur with her eyes through the crowd, but made no other movements.

"I'm going to give you fair warning." Maplestar's expression didn't change at all. "I'll be watching you closely tonight. Don't break the last bit of trust I have in you. You won't get it back again." She then took her place beside Sagestar on the Great Rock.

Silverstripe went to sit by the deputies. As the wind blew, the fur on her neck went against the grain and briefly, a long, jagged red scar could be seen. When it died down, her fur flattened and the scar hid under it again.

Quote: (Oh shoot, did Dapplestar call his name? I forgot..)

Shadowpelt's heart hit the floor. His tail dragged on the ground as he went to take his place in his clan's group. He hadn't realized he sat next to Silverstripe.
(Yeah)

Silverstripe had been politely conversing with Mapleshade when she felt a pelt brush against hers. She looked at him, "Oh, hello Shadowpelt." Neither her voice nor her eyes held any of the previous love, respect, or hurt that had once been there; now, there was only a guarded look in her eyes.

(Oh. Ok. :)
Troutfur glanced around quickly.

(lol!) Shadowpelt looked up and forced a smile. "Hi." he said, his voice dull.
