Silverstripe resisted the urge to snap something at him. Get over it. You shouldn't have been seeing her in the first place. She fell into a crouch as she saw the leaves rustle.

Dawnkit bounded around joyfully.

Dawnkit and Shadowkit were instantly there. Specklefur purred, arriving there a bit after her kits did.

Sagestar continued, turning her eyes onto the cats gathered below. "Shadowpaw, your mentor will be Thistleclaw. Dawnpaw, yours will be Blackfrost. Lionpaw, yours will be Smokewhisker. And Dustpaw, yours will be Thrushtail. I hope they will pass down all they know onto you."
